Interactive Art Experiences

  • Hungry Ghost Festival - Ritual Feast

Bea Yeh and Wendi Yuling, two Asian artists in Portland, OR, invite you to join us in honoring the timeless tradition of the Hungry Ghost Festival. Each August, we gather to create a space of peace, reflection, and connection.

Ritual Feast: A gentle, immersive experience that invites you to slow down, savor the moment, and connect with the Ancestors. Participate in mandala creation, share a piece of fruit, and let your heart find solace in a space of reverential grief and quiet contemplation.

Ghost Archive: A serene space to acknowledge and release inner “ghosts” like regrets and unspoken sorrows. Through mindful rituals, we come together to heal, let go, and find peace in community.

  • Love Letter to Future You

This interactive writing experience offers a unique opportunity for participants to slow down, connect with their senses, and engage with nature. This interactive art experience, rooted in mindfulness and compassion, guides individuals in composing a heartfelt letter to their future selves using an intentionally designed 4-page prompt. Participants then address and seal their letter; I send Love Letters back to each participant in the opposing season it was composed. This practice hopes to foster self-reflection and tenderness: many participants report being profoundly moved when they receive their letters. Love Letter wishes to be a meaningful way to nurture personal growth and connection with the Land.

  • Whimsy & Wonder: Forest Bathing Frolic

I am proud to present Whimsy & Wonder: Forest Bathing Frolic, a short art film that encapsulates the curiosity, joy, and sense of connection experienced during a Luminous Together Forest Bathing Walk. This project is my Harvest Project and endeavors to capture the beauty and transformative invitation that is forest therapy. Special thanks to our talented actors, Jai Lawrence and Frank Brislawn, whose performances bring to life the playful energy and wonder of this practice. Through this work, I invite viewers to step into a world where nature holds space for healing, reflection, and joyful exploration; where we are reminded to slow down, connect with our surroundings, and revel in the magic of the natural world. What are you noticing?
